Serge Gnabry: Bayern Munich Star Suffers Muscle Tear in Arsenal Clash

Subtle Injury Hampers German International's Champions League Campaign

Winger's Market Value Remains Unaffected Despite Setback

Munich, Germany - Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry has sustained a muscle tear in his left leg during the team's Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Arsenal. The diagnosis comes as a setback for the German international, who has been a key player for Bayern this season.

Gnabry, 28, was forced off the field in the second half of Bayern's 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. The injury occurred as Gnabry attempted to make a tackle on Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed the extent of Gnabry's injury after the match. "Serge has a muscle tear in his left leg," Nagelsmann said. "It's not a long-term injury, but it will keep him out for a few weeks."

The injury is a blow to Bayern's hopes of winning the Champions League this season. Gnabry has been in excellent form for the German champions, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions this season.

However, despite the setback, Gnabry's market value remains unaffected. The German international is still valued at €45 million by Transfermarkt, making him one of the most valuable players in the Bundesliga.
